DECA Dodgeball FAQ:

  • How long does the season go, how many games are played?

    Full season: runs from September until end of April, teams are guaranteed 20 games and ability to participate in the year end tournament with windup to follow.

    Half season: runs from January until the end of April, teams are guaranteed 10 games and ability to participate in the year end tournament with windup to follow.

  • What is the cost for league fees?

    Full Season: cost is $430.00 + $120.00 performance bond.

    Half Season: cost is $240.00 +$120.00 performance bond.

  • What is the performance bond?

    The performance bond is set as an incentive for all team follow the ruleset, play fair and have fun.  If issues or problems arise, this bond is used to relegate fines (values listed under our Saskatchewan Dodgeball Ruleset) to the offending team(s).  At end of season performance bond is returned (minus any possible deductions) to captains at the end of season meeting.

  • How many players do you need? 

    Each team consist of a minimum of 6 players up to a maximum roster of 15.  Two players of the opposite sex must be on the court at all times.

  • How often do you play, how long are the games?

    Games are scheduled for once per week on either Friday or Saturday from 6pm-9pm, and set for a 1 hour time length.

  • Is there room in a competitive division?

    All new team start in the C Division, it is a good mix of fun and competitive play.  Based on seasonal standing team will move up or down accordingly in to appropriate divisions.
